Support NFL Player in Issuing Subpoena Against Trump

Target: Donald Trump, President of the United States

Goal: Convince the American president to testify in court over NFL collusion case.

Legal battles in the NFL continue as Colin Kaepernick’s attorneys are expected to subpoena President Donald Trump and other politicians for allegedly colluding with industry officials. Federal subpoenas are filed when you want to force a person to testify in court. Trump stands accused of conspiring with NFL owners to oust the former quarterback from the San Francisco 49ers. Kaepernick became a household name when he began kneeling during the National Anthem to denounce police brutality and racial inequality. Since then, he has been dismissed from the league and experienced the brunt of Trump’s online wrath.

There’s nothing unpatriotic about protesting. On the other hand, there’s nothing noble about undermining a person’s freedom of speech or ruining their career. It’s believed that Trump conversed with various NFL team owners to punish players involved in the protest. The content of these alleged discussions will become clearer if and when Trump divulges information to a federal tribune. Until then, Kaepernick’s must convince an arbitrator (a mediator) that the pursuit of a subpoena is of the utmost importance for his case to be solved. Riddled with uncertainty, the best route to take would be convincing Trump to voluntarily disclose the nature of his alleged dialogue with NFL executives. Sign the petition to demand the head of state fess up.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President Trump,

Your propensity to undermine citizens’ constitutional rights never ceases to amaze the general American public. Following months of controversy, Colin Kaepernick’s legal team is official pursuing a subpoena to mandate your court testimony. Highlighted by your continual hate-ridden rhetoric against NFL protesters, you have allegedly colluded with NFL officials to punish socially conscious football players. Currently, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback is unemployed simply for speaking out against racial injustices, allegedly  thanks to your volatile commentary and secret meetings. You must understand the severity of these grievances based on your reported divisive conversations with NFL owners and boycott of kneeling players. Whether on the Internet, during public speeches, or in private, you seem committed to persecuting these athletes involved. One way or another, you will be held responsible. Better to come clean sooner than later.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
