Puppy Reportedly Starved to Death Deserves Justice

Target: Bruce Colton, State Attorney for Indian River County, Florida

Goal: Demand that the woman who allegedly starved a puppy to death receive the maximum penalty possible by law.

A puppy was allegedly starved to death in a shocking case of animal cruelty. The puppy’s badly decomposed remains were reportedly found locked inside of a crate. Demand justice for this innocent puppy.

“Other neighbors said they had heard the dog howling and howling. That dog was crying out for help,” stated Vickie Catalona, a concerned neighbor. Terri Redstone’s neighbors called the sheriff’s office when they noticed a terrible smell coming from the inside of her home. A thorough search of the property reportedly revealed the decomposing remains of a Rottweiler puppy locked inside of a crate. Per deputies, the one-year-old puppy had been dead for at least three weeks and hadn’t been fed for weeks before that. They reportedly found full bags of dog food inside of the home and concluded that the starvation had likely been intentional.

One surviving dog was removed from the home. Redstone was charged with felony animal cruelty and is free on bond. Sign below and demand that Redstone receive the maximum penalty possible by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear State Attorney Colton,

A puppy died in agony when the poor animal was allegedly starved. The puppy’s decomposing remains were reportedly found locked inside of a crate. We demand justice for this poor puppy.

Indian River County Sheriff’s deputies searched Terri Redstone’s property after they received reports of a foul odor coming from the house. Once inside, they reportedly discovered the badly decomposed remains of a Rottweiler puppy locked inside of a crate. The puppy had been dead for at least three weeks, deputies stated, and hadn’t been fed for weeks before that. Full dog food bags were found inside of the home, and deputies concluded that the starvation had been intentional. A second surviving dog was removed from the home. Redstone was charged with felony animal cruelty, and she is currently out on bond.

If guilty, then this woman is a danger to animals and must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,
