Stop Invading the Private Homes of Muslim Citizens

Target: Xi Jinping, President of China

Goal: End invasive “Becoming Family” campaign that allows the government to impose on the private homes of citizens.

Muslim families in China are finding their homes invaded in an unnecessary and discriminating practice being carried out by the Chinese government. The “Becoming Family” campaign allows Chinese government officials to camp out in Muslim families’ homes, ask questions about political ideologies, and more.

As Human Rights Watch says, Muslim families are “now literally eating and sleeping under the watchful eye of the state in their own homes.” This program intimidates Muslim families and even subjects them to political indoctrination.

Families should feel safe in their homes without the government literally invading their space, sitting at their table, and sleeping under their roof. Sign the petition to demand that this program be brought to an end immediately.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President Xi,

While the “Becoming Family” program may be intended as a way to promote understanding and togetherness, it is really violating the human rights and privacy of an entire group of people. Muslim families are being targeted, forced to literally eat and sleep under the watchful eye of their government.

This practice does not bring people together. Instead, it serves as a tactic to spread fear and intimidate. I demand it be brought to an end immediately.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
