Protect Children from Dangerous and Deadly Poverty

Target: Michel Temer, President of Brazil

Goal: Bring an end to the horrific poverty of millions of children.

Over 17 million children in Brazil suffer everyday as they struggle to find work and scrap together what little food they can afford. Child poverty levels in Brazil for children under 14 are alarmingly high. It is time the nation’s government act to protect its youngest citizens.

Children’s rights in Brazil are under attack. Only 27 percent of children receive an education. Over 2.5 million children are working illegally. Water is scarce and health is deteriorating.

The government of Brazil must no longer neglect the children of the nation. The United Nations is calling for reform and we must join them. Sign the petition to demand that Brazil implement reforms to end child poverty.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President Temer,

Over 17 million children in your nation suffer under the weight of poverty. Denied an education, they toil illegally to earn meager money for very little food and water. Disease runs rampant. Children’s rights are under attack.

The United Nations is calling for reform and I am joining them. I demand you enact regulations that bring this brutal child poverty to an end. All citizens, from the youngest to the oldest, deserve to live a comfortable and safe life.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
