Stop the Murder of Neighborhood Pets

Target: Anthony Holloway, Chief of St. Petersburg Police Department

Goal: Find those responsible for poisoning and killing three pets.

Three pets have been found dead after their owners received threatening notes telling them to keep their pets quiet– or the sender would. This wasn’t the first time; in 2016, one of the owners, Rob McCahan, received a similar note when his dog Annabelle fell ill. Although she survived the incident back in 2016, this time she did not.

One of the cruel methods of murder that the individual(s) used was lacing dog food with Tylenol, which is incredibility toxic to dogs. The Tylenol causes kidney failure, which is how Annabelle died. Annabelle wasn’t the only innocent animal killed. An eight-year-old golden retriever also died from a poisoned bag of dog food thrown into the family’s backyard, as well as a cat who was found hanged. Please sign the petition below and demand that the St. Petersburg Police Department work to find the cruel abuser(s) responsible for the death of these animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Holloway,

Three pets have been murdered in the same neighborhood of St. Petersburg. The cruel individual(s) have taken the lives of innocent animals and left their owners grieving the death of their pets. The owners received threatening letters before the death of their pets, all containing the same handwriting.

Two dogs, a five-year-old brindle pit bull terrier mix named Annabelle and an eight-year-old golden retriever, were poisoned in their own backyards by vicious individual(s) that wanted them dead because they were ‘too loud.’ The abuser(s) responsible for these crimes are obviously very dangerous and need to be caught. We ask that the St. Petersburg Police Department take action and find those responsible for the cruel murder of these animals.

Sincerely,

  1. I hope that they get the Sick cruel bastards and give them a tough sentence!
I get so fed up of the ridiculous sentences animal abusers get.5 years minimum is where it should start with no early release.
I also hope that the other prisoners give the animal abusers hell!

  2. OMG…………….A EVIL AND VILE MONSTER LIVES IN YOUR AREA AND EVERYONE THERE MUST TAKE ACTION TO FIND THIS MONSTER AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE SEVERELY PUNISHED.

CALL ANIMAL LEGAL DEFENSE FUND, ADI AND ANY OTHER LARGE ANIMAL AGENCY WITH TOP NOTCH ATTORNEYS TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS MONSTER IS PUNISHED. IN THE MEAN TIME DO NOT LET YOUR ANIMAL OUTSIDE WITH YOU CHECKING TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO POISON ETC IN YOUR YARD AND DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET OUTSIDE ALONE UNTIL THIS MONSTER IS CAUGHT AND PUT IN JAIL WHERE THEY BELONG.

What about installing a video camera right after receiving a threatening letter and don’t allowing the dog to go out to the patio but instead taking him/her for a walk? And posting ‘warning signs’ in the neighborhood wouldn’t be a bad idea either …
