Eight Dogs Allegedly Neglected in Illegal Kennel Deserve Justice

Target: Wes Adams, State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County, Maryland

Goal: Demand that the people who allegedly neglected eight dogs in their illegal kennel, leading to the death of one, receive the maximum penalty by law.

Seven dogs suffered, and one died, when they were allegedly neglected and kept in unsanitary conditions in an illegal kennel. The so-called kennel and training center reportedly smelled of feces and the dogs showed signs of prolonged starvation. Demand justice for these innocent dogs.

“I was horrified. The smell punched you in the face like a sledgehammer,” stated Lisa Simmons. After reading several concerned Facebook posts about Olympian Kennels, Simmons requested that the Anne Arundel County Police accompany her to investigate the property. Six dogs were reportedly found caged in the basement, investigators stated, and they all lived in their urine. Some of them were reportedly so hungry that they’d begun eating their own feces. One puppy had to be euthanized due to severe malnutrition, reports showed, and another dog is still missing.

The surviving dogs are receiving veterinary care and they will return to their owners. Police charged Rebecca Wolfe and Cameron Whitaker-Nelson with 40 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that they receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear State’s Attorney Adams,

A puppy died and more dogs suffered when they were allegedly neglected and starved. The dogs reportedly resided at Olympian Kennels, an illegal kennel and dog training center, where they lived in urine-soaked cages. We demand justice for these poor dogs.

Anne Arundel County police charged Rebecca Wolfe and Cameron Whitaker-Nelson with 40 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty after they allegedly neglected eight dogs in their illegal kennel and dog training center. The dogs reportedly were so malnourished that some even ate their own feces to quell their hunger. Many of the dogs were so thin that their ribs showed through their skin, investigators stated, and one puppy had to be euthanized due to severe malnutrition. The surviving dogs are receiving veterinary care and they will be returned to their owners. The investigation against Wolfe and Whitaker-Nelson is on-going.

This horrific neglect must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

  1. Place these scum bags into a kennel with no food, water or shelter & see how they like it. Let the sun beat down on them or the snow till they die. Anyone who can not treat an animal right does NOT deserve to live.
