Punish Teacher Who Allegedly Fed a Puppy to a Snapping Turtle

Target: Vic A. Pearson, Prosecuting Attorney for Franklin County, Idaho

Goal: Demand that the teacher who allegedly fed a puppy to a snapping turtle in the presence of children be charged with animal cruelty and receive the maximum penalty by law.

A science teacher allegedly fed a puppy to a snapping turtle in front of students after school hours. The puppy was described as “deformed,” and it is unclear whether the puppy was alive or dead during the feeding. Demand justice for this innocent puppy.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reported to Preston Junior High School, where a teacher allegedly fed a puppy to a snapping turtle in the presence of students. This was reportedly not the first time that Robert Crosland, a science teacher known for his dedication to the “circle of life,” fed small mammals to reptiles in the classroom. Past students have come forward, stating that they’d previously witnessed Crosland feed guinea pigs to snakes. It is unclear whether or not the puppy was alive at the time of the feeding.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, and the county prosecutor will soon decide whether to press charges against Crosland. Meanwhile, Crosland remains employed at the school and has not been removed from the classroom. Sign below and demand that Crosland be charged with animal cruelty and receive the maximum penalty by law if found guilty.

Jane that’s great. I’m waiting for the super predator put people in place. Kick them off the top of the chain

  4. well, the story gets much worse, dark — everyone apparently knew this about him, he gives his students extra credit for bringing him live baby animals puppies, kittens, bunnies, rats etc.. to use as feed for his captive reptiles.
An Idaho newspaper ran an article about him featuring pics of him smiling proudly while he was feeding a rat to a turtle back in 2006

  5. Jeannette Allan says:

This is appalling, This man must be psychotic, his motivation and reasoning for this disgusting exhibition are hard to understand. He exhibits poor judgement for a teacher, showing no respect or empathy for the suffering of this poor fellow creature. Even if this unfortunate puppy was dead, the entire lesson is sickening and depraved and has no place in a classroom. This man would NOT be teaching my child, and should be fired.

  6. I do not want my kids exposed to a cruel sadistic criminal. What next? Will he feed a deformed dying baby to a turtle and have the kids ds watch it scream as it dies, like this innocent vulnerable puppy? Remove any teach with such very bad judgement and cruel unkind behavior. Something is very very wrong with people who perpetrate cruel senseless violence, and they for sure do not belong in school teaching our kids!

“If you have men who will exclude any of God’s creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.” St. Francis of Assisi

  8. It’s beginning to fall in place why the youths of this country are so f’d up, for the main. With teachers of this ilk, authoritarian figures, kids look up to, doing shit like this, it’s no damned wonder. He has perverted young minds, desensitized young minds to cruelty. Teachers of this ilk need to be investigated by FBI.

  9. So where is the petition to charge whoever authorized for the snapping turtle to be euthanized?

  10. James Rouso says:

This monster of a teacher is sadistic! Put him in a cage with a huge grisly bear that hasn’t eaten anything for a week!
