Dog with Rubber Band Bound Around His Mouth Deserves Justice

Target: Michael Ramos, District Attorney for San Bernardino County, California

Goal: Demand that the person who wound a rubber band around a dog’s mouth, leading to serious injuries, be charged with animal cruelty and receives the maximum penalty by law.

A dog suffered serious injuries after someone wound a rubber band tightly around his mouth. The dog also had severely matted fur, a sign of neglect. Demand justice for this poor dog.

A good samaritan notified the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA after they discovered a badly injured dog. The four-year-old poodle, named Ricky by his rescuers, had a rubber band tightly wound around his muzzle. A thorough veterinary examination showed that Ricky suffered from an infected mouth and tongue, and his hair was severely matted. Ricky had no collar, ID, or microchip, and the person who committed this abuse is still at large.

Ricky had surgery to repair his injuries, and he is expected to recover. The Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA is investigating this case as animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that the person responsible be charged and assigned the maximum penalty by law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Ramos,

A dog suffered tremendously when he had a rubber band wound around his mouth. The person responsible is still at large. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

The Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA are investigating after a good samaritan found a dog with a rubber band wound tightly around his mouth. Ricky, a four-year-old poodle, suffered an infected mouth and tongue and had to have surgery to correct his painful injuries. An examination also showed that Ricky had severely matted fur, a common sign of neglect. Ricky had no collar, ID, or microchip. Investigators are searching for his owner as well as the person who committed this horrendous act of cruelty.

The person responsible for this cruelty is dangerous and must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

Ye must not only have kind and merciful feelings for mankind, but ye should also exercise the utmost kindness towards every living creature.
The physical sensibilities and instincts are common to animal and man.
Man is, however, negligent of this reality and imagines that sensibility is peculiar to mankind, therefore he practices cruelty to the animal…..
In reality what difference is there in physical sensations! Sensibility is the same whether you harm man or animal: there is no difference. Nay, rather, cruelty to the animal is more painful because man has a tongue and he sighs, complains and groans when he receives an injury and complains to the government and the government protects him from cruelty; but the poor animal cannot speak, it can neither show its suffering nor is it able to appeal to the government.
If it is harmed a thousand times by man it is not able to defend itself in words nor can it seek justice or retaliate…..
Therefore one must be very considerate towards animals and show greater kindness to them than to man…. Man is generally sinful and the animal is innocent; unquestionably one must be more kind and merciful to the innocent. Baha’i Faith Writings
Please get well little one and God bless those who helped you.

this poor baby this sorry some of a bitch that did this needs to be punished big time I’d like to see something tied around his mouth and pulled so tight he’d choke

  6. This is a very dangerous sick criminal. Find this abuser who has no empathy for living creatures, that’s a sign of a serial killer. Catch this creep and report all animal abuse cases to the FBI di ion that investigates these crimes to stop the escalation of these violent criminals.

I READ AND SIGN THINGS LIKE THIS EVERY DAY, AND EVERY DAY I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SIGNING, IT ALL SEEMS SO UNBELIEVABLE, THAT THERE ARE SO MANY SICK EVIL BASTARDS IN THIS WORLD, AND THEY GET AWAY WITH SO MUCH THAT MOST WILL NEVER STOP, THE LAW REALLY SHOULD COME DOWN HARD ON ALL ANIMAL CRUELTY CASES, THEY ALL GET AWAY WITH TO MUCH. IT IS LAUGHABLE. EXCEPT FOR THE POOR DEAR CREATURES INVOLVED IN THE SICKENING CRUELTY. MAKE THEM PAY

  8. Margaret Melnick says:

I seen where one man who abused and killed a dog got 12 yrs in prison. That should be the minimum and that should be 12 yrs HARD LABOR. If this was the case we could end a most animal abuse. You abuse you do minimum 12 yrs hard labor. also Police should be publishing pictures of the animal when they don’t know who did the abuse. If people saw the picture they may be able to find the owner and find out who gets the 12 yrs.

  9. Unfortunately scumbags and evil people all over this world do very cruel and horrific acts toward animals.
    How to stop it?
Reading and seeing the evil that is put toward animals make it too overwhelming to exist.

  10. Pat Williams says:

The evil unfeeling POS that did this, needs to be found and punished. His name needs to be made public and be on the national list so that he can Never be around another innocent animal ever again. Think what he would do to a crying baby? Maybe you could put a big rubber band around a ‘part’ of him so he can experience the torture that he handed out to a small dog?
