Puppies Dead Due to Alleged Starvation and Neglect Deserve Justice

Target: Larry E. Harrah, II, Prosecuting Attorney for Fayette County, West Virginia

Goal: Charge woman who allegedly kept two dogs and their litter of puppies in deplorable and fatal conditions.

Two puppies died and several more dogs suffered when they were allegedly starved and neglected. Per reports, the dogs lived among mud and garbage and had no access to food or water. Demand justice for these poor dogs.

“Without the call, someone made in concern over the dogs, the whole group would have likely not survived,” stated Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley. Fayette County deputies and animal control officers removed two adult dogs and their litter of puppies from Amanda Jones’ property after she allegedly neglected them and kept them in deplorable conditions. The dogs lived among  garbage, deputies stated, and the female dog’s leash was wrapped around a tree with only 12 inches of slack. Per reports, the dogs had no access to shelter, food, or water and this neglect resulted in the death of two puppies.

Animal control took custody of the surviving dogs and their condition is not reported. Deputies charged Jones with seven counts of animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that Jones receives the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear Prosecuting Attorney Harrah,

Two adult dogs and their litter of puppies were reportedly neglected and kept in deplorable conditions, leading to the death of two puppies. The dogs reportedly lived among trash and debris without access to shelter. We demand justice for these innocent dogs.

Fayette County deputies charged Amanda Jones with seven counts of animal cruelty after she allegedly neglected and starved several dogs on her property. Per deputies, the dogs lived in mud and garbage without access to food, water, or shelter. The adult female dog’s leash was reportedly wrapped around a tree with just 12 inches of slack and all of the dogs were wet. Two puppies were found dead, deputies stated, due to neglect. Animal control took custody of the surviving dogs and their condition is unreported.

This horrific abuse must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  2. An EYE for an EYE LAW needs to be enacted. That’s the only way. Repeat offenders get off with slaps on the wrist. Disgusting. Animals need protection from these psycho humans.

  3. I agree Jane, treat these monsters in exactly the way they abuse and murder innocents. The law is useless ,they are lax in the punishment that the monsters deserve.

  4. I know that it would be difficult to enforce, but people like this should never be able to own another animal in their lives.Tying her up to a tree on a 12 inch chain for a few months might get a message across.

  5. Signed & shared❗️😠

  6. Agree all above
