Dog Reportedly Found Starving in Wire Cage With No Shelter Needs Justice

Target: Faith Johnson, District Attorney for Dallas County, Texas

Goal: Demand that the people who allegedly starved two dogs, leading to the death of one, receive the maximum penalty by law.

One dog died and another suffered when they were allegedly starved and neglected. The dogs were reportedly kept in wire cages without access to shelter, food, or water. Demand justice for these innocent dogs.

A dog screamed in pain as officers with the Dallas County Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit led him away from his allegedly neglectful home. The dog’s hip and rib bones reportedly protruded from his skin, and he was almost too weak to walk. Per authorities, the dog suffered from dehydration, starvation, and diarrhea. Officers also found a deceased dog on the property, reports claimed. The necropsy showed that the dog died from complications related to starvation and dehydration, and the dog’s entire gastrointestinal tract lacked substance for nourishment.

The Texas SPCA obtained custody of the surviving dog. His current condition is unreported. Police charged Anthony Terry Nichols, Jr. and Jamine Teara Sadler with third-degree felony cruelty to non-livestock animals. They were booked into the Dallas County Jail. Sign below and demand that Nichols and Sadler receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear District Attorney Johnson,

Two dogs were allegedly starved and neglected in a shocking case of animal cruelty. One dog reportedly died of complications related to starvation and dehydration, and the surviving dog screamed in pain when rescuers led him away from the scene. We demand justice for these poor dogs.

The Dallas County Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit charged Anthony Terry Nichols, Jr. and Jamine Teara Sadler with third-degree felony cruelty to non-livestock animals after they allegedly starved and neglected two dogs. Per officers, the dogs lived in wire cages without access to food, water, medical care, or shelter, and they were both so emaciated that their bones showed through their skin. Necropsy results indicated that the deceased dog’s gastrointestinal tract was completely void of substance for nourishment. The Texas SPCA took custody of the surviving dog. Nichols and Sadler were booked into the Dallas County Jail with a $5,000 bond.

This horrific cruelty must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

I am soooo tired of these EVIL SCUMBAGS abusing, neglecting, torturing, and MURDERING Animals.
In addition to my other titles, I am a USMC Combat Veteran, (Honourable) tours in Kuwait and Iraq. It requires ALL OF THE SELF-CONTROL THAT I POSSESS TO REFRAIN FROM DOING EXACTLY WHAT THESE EVIL SCUMBAGS DID TO THESE POOR PUPPIES, TO THEM.I WANT TO BEAT THEM TO DEATH. However, were I to do so, I would succumb to EVIL myself, and be incarcerated. I refuse to succumb.
It is past time that these SCUM be punished, to the FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW, OR MORE.
I beg you on behalf of the Animals that cannot speak or defend themselves, TO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ESCAPE WITH A “SLAP ON THE WRIST,” as is what usually happens in similar cases.

    • Carol Brandt says:

You are so right, and thank you for your service to our country.

    • Im with you 100%. There is no end to the horror inflicted upin animals and people by evil scumbags, and when a perp is caught, all justice systems fail miserably in punihishing them on any level. I sign these petitions all day long, to no avail. I too would like to burn these bastard animal abusers/tortures/murderers alive, extinguish the fire before death so they can feel they agony of their burned flesh hanging off of their bones, and then beat them until every bone in their body is shattered. But we can’t. We must keep signing away in the hope that one day, necessary laws are in place to protect innocent animals.

    • Alicia you are right about doinf the same to them. But I don’t agree that you succumb to evil. NO. Is the opposite. We are letting evil, malignant, nasty, horrible human shit to multiply to pass their horrible genes, these beasts and others like pedophiles, rappists, assassins, sickos should all have death penalty but 1 they should suffer a lot. The world needs a clean. This keeps happening and every day there are more. Why? because they know they might have a slap on the wrist and it is all, so they go free on their evil ways. They will do it to human as soon as they have the chance, only they know in that case things can get much more complicated, that’s why there are not armies of these people killing other. They need to be tortured and killed or left to die, but make sure they are dead as evil people always survive all.
I am as tired as u are and there is no treatment for this people, and prisons are full and they will be there alive, eating and defecating while their victims are dead, or others with scars physical and or emotional for the rest of their lives. NO I say no to evil. Einstein and some more considered people said that the problem is not the evil/maligant people, is the ones who see their evil/maligant acts and do NOTHING to stop them. In this world of today what systems do about these and other sickos is nothing.

  2. PATRICIA KatWrangler WELCH says:

Anthony Terry Nichols, Jr. and Jamine Teara Sadler are useless sub-human scum.

Our world does not need people who can stand by and watch an animal – ANY animal – waste away from neglect and starvation.

Sounds like a job for Old Sparky. Starve them first, though.

  3. Faith – This is a tough story to read, but even tougher for the two dogs who had to live it. Anthony Terry Nichols, Jr. and Jamine Teara Sadler need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed under the law. Show the world that Dallas County, Texas WILL NOT tolerate animal abuse and murder. Please!

  4. these inhuman bastards should be punished to the fullest starve the creeps

  5. Why is TEXAS always in the news for animal cruelty? Obviously people know they can get away with it. Glad I don’t live in Texas, pity the innocent animals!

  6. Karen Mckay says:

If these cancers get out of jail you two better watch your backs. when will the justice system make an example of animal abusers? It makes me so mad these excuses for humans are even allowed to continue breathing. Its time the punishment was the same abuse as they inflicted. WAKE UP COURTS!!!!

Throw him in a cage and let him starve!!!!! let’s see if he likes them apples!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I hate animal abusers. Lock them up and starve them till they die.

  9. The owners should be put down!!

  10. Barton Dixon says:

“If a man aspires towards a righteous life, his first act of abstinence is from injury to animals.” Albert Einstein

“Compassion for animals is intimately connected with goodness of character; and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man.” Authur Schopenhauer

“If you have men who will exclude any of God’s creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.” St. Francis of Assisi

  11. Elaine Milbourn says:

Filth like this are going to continue abusing animals until the law actually does something to punish them properly. I am thoroughly fed up with tiny slaps on the wrist of rotten to the core individuals who don’t give a damn. Time to put this right and make sure these pieces of filth never hurt another animal.
