Punish Man Who Allegedly Starved and Neglected Two Dogs and a Cat

Target: John J. Flynn, District Attorney for Erie County, Pennsylvania

Goal: Demand that the man who allegedly starved his two dogs and kept his cat in an unheated home receive the maximum penalty by law.

Two dogs and a cat suffered when they were allegedly starved and kept in an unheated home. Per investigators, the suspect first claimed that the dogs did not belong to him and then that he didn’t have enough money to feed his dogs. Demand justice for these poor animals.

The Humane Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania launched an investigation against Robert E. Heath after he reportedly brought them a severely emaciated Labrador retriever and claimed the dog had been living underneath his porch. Per investigators, the dog weighed only 26 pounds and was in extremely poor health. A black and white pit bull was also reportedly found in Heath’s home, severely emaciated. The investigation showed that Heath did not have a porch on his home, and investigators concluded that the dogs belonged to Heath. One cat was also found inside of the unheated home, allegedly locked in an enclosed room.

The current conditions of the dogs and cat are unreported. Heath has been charged with animal cruelty and neglect. Sign below and demand that Health receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear District Attorney Flynn,

Two dogs and a cat suffered when they were allegedly starved and neglected. The dogs were reportedly severely underweight, and all of the animals were reportedly kept in an unheated home. We demand justice for these poor animals.

Investigators with the Humane Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania charged Robert E. Heath with animal cruelty and neglect after he allegedly starved two dogs and kept a cat in an unheated home. One dog, a Labrador retriever, reportedly weighed only 26 pounds, and the other, a black and white pit bull, was severely emaciated. Per investigators, Heath described the dogs as “strays” and stated that one dog was living under his porch. An investigation of Heath’s home showed the Heath did not have a porch, and investigators concluded that Heath was the dogs’ owner.

This cruelty cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
