Allow U.N. to Investigate Myanmar’s Horrific Genocide

Target: Aung San Suu Kyi, 1st State Counselor of Myanmar

Goal: Allow the United Nations to investigate the human rights abuses and genocide occurring in Myanmar.

The United Nations has been barred from investigating the horrific genocide being carried out against Myanmar’s Rohingya Muslims. Investigator Yanghee Lee has been banned from the country, which means no one from the international organization will be able to investigate the nation’s widespread human rights abuses.

More than 600,000 Rohingya Muslims have been forced out of their homes. Thousands have been killed in this ethnic cleansing campaign. Myanmar’s soldiers have raped, attacked, and murdered men, women, and children to the shock of the international community.

As a member of the United Nations, Myanmar must cooperate with investigators. By allowing this genocide to continue, Myanmar’s leaders are complicit and just as responsible for the thousands of lives lost in their nation as the military is. Demand that they allow the U.N. to investigate these horrific mass murders so that they can immediately be brought to an end.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Counselor Suu Kyi,

Your government has banned the United Nations from investigating the horrible flight and murder of the Rohingya Muslims in your country. Investigators have been barred as you attempt to keep the violence a secret.

In knowing about the rapes, attacks, and murders of the Rohingya people, the government is just as responsible for the bloodshed as the military is. Allow the United Nations to investigate. Use the help of the international community to bring this violence to an end.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

its insane to ban the un’s investigation. this is racist. this is ignorant to not investigate plus its just fascism.

  2. Aung San Suu Kyi is a traitor to her own people and does not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.
