Protect Refugees from Deadly Asylum Conditions

Target: Emmanuel Macron, President of France

Goal: Protect refugees from deadly living conditions in refugee camps.

Asylum seekers in France are finding little safety. As winter draws near, many refugees in Calais are expected to die due to cold weather, little clothes or food, unclean water, and no shelter. Many are living outside. Despite this, police continue to confiscate migrants’ belongings and the little they have to see them through the winter.

Police and others are intentionally destroying belongings and shelter in an effort to dissuade migrants from settling in Calais. However, with no home to return to, many of these refugees would rather brave the cold than go back to war-torn countries.

Every human being deserves safety and respect. Sign the petition and demand that the government of France intervene and protect refugees from abuse at the hands of police and death at the hands of inhumane conditions.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President Macron,

After escaping death in their war-torn countries, many refugees will face death in your own country this winter. Refugees in Calais have no food, no belongings, and no shelter. Police abuse them and rob them of the very little they have, leaving them exposed to the deadly winter elements.

However, these refugees have no home to return to. France has opened its doors to refugees and should protect them. Every human being deserves safety, compassion, and respect no matter where they’re from. I ask that you protect the refugees of Calais.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

    protect them not criminalize them.

  2. afraid that there come more and more
instead of stopping all the war
    addicted to that enmity
    preventing one humanity
    thinking it ideal and impossible
trade in arms more real after all
    thus serving growth of gdp
    and ignorance ruling globally

  3. “France has opened its doors to refugees and should protect them.”
Untrue. These are illegal migrants who entered France of their own accord. They are hiding behind certain EU edicts. Many are not asylum seekers in any case; mostly, they are economic migrants. France is not obliged to house or feed these people. We here in Europe simply CANNOT take in umpteen million economic migrants (or refugees).

  4. send them back to where they came from the same as the ones in Canada they have brought nothing into this country but strife and the gov. gives them so much but neglects our vets and homeless who are freezing and starving in the streets it’s about time they took care of our own first all they do is sit around and collect welfare and breed like flies

  5. Rosslyn Osborne says:

Yes, we are all citizens of the planet and all are God’s creatures that means every single soul from our vets to homeless and genuine refugees that are truly seeking shelter from the conflicts of war.
As countries must come together to stop the wars not continually profiting from them and turning people into political footballs. There are sadly those who ‘backdoor’ other countries, by paying to get there and fabricating their ‘hardship’ stories that then make it so much harder for the genuine people seeking help. Each country is then face with added financial burdens trying to police this and sorting out who is genuine and who isn’t and in turn this takes away from other very important needy groups within their own respective countries…. Huge problem the world over.
