Restrict the wide use of poisonous chemicals in Mauritius to protect pets and wildlife and vulnerable people.

Target: The Deputy Permanent Secretary Ministry of Commerce & Industry in Mauritius,

Dogs and birds have been killed by the use of poison in Flic en Flac. Many dead birds and dogs are lying around poisoned.
We are urging the government to review the legislations for the use of dangerous chemicals. Measures must be in place so that poison is not used around pets and children. Pesticides harmful to bees and butterfly must be banned.
The police should prosecute when poison has been used inappropriately and has caused harm to animals and the environment.
