Dear District Attorney Dorrough,

A dog nearly died when he was shot with an arrow. The arrow penetrated his back and pierced his lung, making it difficult for him to breathe. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

Longview Animal Services rescued the large black dog from a street corner and immediately took him to a veterinarian. In addition to the 20-inch-long arrow stuck in the dog’s back, the veterinarian discovered a pellet lodged in his body.
