Justice for Family Dog Stabbed by Burglars

Target: Mary Jackson, Deputy Police Chief of Detroit, Michigan

Goal: Find and severely punish burglars who stabbed a dog multiple times while trying to break into a house.

A dog was stabbed by burglars who were trying to break into a home. The dog, named Gracie, had been tied to her leash and was inside of her own fenced-in yard when the incident occurred. She was found lying on the ground, her body covered in stab wounds. Her owner says Gracie couldn’t even walk. Gracie is currently recovering at an animal hospital, but the hospital staff say she’s at risk of losing her leg. Photos of Gracie show both of her hind legs bandaged, and some of the wounds are visible.

So far, the people who did this remain at large. As long as these people are roaming the streets, animals and possibly humans are at risk. That is why it’s important that we put pressure on the authorities to find and stop them. Please add your signature to the petition below to demand that the disgusting people who did this be found and brought to justice.

Dear Ms. Jackson,

A dog, who was tied to her leash and inside of a fence, was reportedly stabbed by burglars. The owners say they found their dog, Gracie, lying helplessly on the ground and covered in stab wounds. Gracie is still recovering, but there’s a chance she could lose her leg.

We, the undersigned, are calling on you to help bring this innocent dog and her family the justice they deserve. Please utilize all possible resources to find and severely punish the cruel people who did this.

  1. The buglars were there to rob the house. Stabbing Gracie was pure cruelty, and should have never take place. Once found, press charges, felonies and prison time. Which they should get for robbing the house, but other charges should be included for trying to murder Gracie, who was Not any kind of threat to them!

  3. Jacqui Skill says:

  4. Wow! First they try steal and now they kill, thats even worse. What a POS.

  6. O.K., Justice System …. let’s pretend that Gracie is a human and not a dog. Does that make a difference in they way this incident will be looked upon? You bet your you-know-what it does! By the way, the sociopaths that did this will surely do it again and again and again … if not caught. They are a menace to humans and animals alike.

Yes I’d like to know why the dog was tied up in a fenced in yard too⁉️?
