PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Guest,

Nineteen dogs in your county were reportedly subjected to cruel training methods for dog fighting. The dogs were allegedly forced to wear heavy weights around their necks and were chained to the ground. We demand justice for these poor dogs.

The nineteen Staffordshire terriers found in Anton Jerome Clayborne’s home were reportedly subjected to horrific cruelty. Per deputies, one dog was locked in a wire crate with no access to water and had a 4.5 pound weight attached to its collar. Dog fighting paraphernalia, including a large supply of supplements and weighted vests, was reportedly found in Clayborne’s home.

This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,
