“You hear me? Stop it, stop it right now.” A woman reportedly uttered these words while hitting, biting, and pulling on her small dog. Shocking video footage shot by a witness reportedly showed the woman yelling at the dog as it tried to escape from her grasp, only to be pulled violently back by its leash. A witness asked the woman to stop hitting her dog and she reportedly responded with a series of expletives before exiting the train.

The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals took the dog into their custody and it is doing well. The woman’s identity has not yet been reported and charges are pending. Sign below and demand that this woman be charged with animal cruelty and receive the maximum penalty under law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Naqvi,

Shocking video footage reportedly showed a dog being abused on a subway. A woman allegedly hit, bit, and yelled at the small dog repeatedly. We demand justice for this poor dog.

“I was terrified and worried she might punch me in the face if she noticed I was recording her,” stated Roxy Huang. Huang recorded the shocking incident and posted it online, where it went viral. The disturbing clip reportedly showed an unidentified woman pulling the dog back and forth with a leash. The dog appeared frightened and even tried to escape before the woman allegedly yanked it backward again.

This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,
