Find and Punish Man Who Allegedly Snapped a Puppy’s Neck

Target: Dana Wingert, Des Moines Chief of Police

Goal: Demand that the man who allegedly snapped a puppy’s neck be found and given the maximum penalty under the law.

An Iowan man reportedly snapped the neck of his neighbors’ three-month-old corgi puppy after he became involved in a dispute regarding Wi-Fi. The man, 25-year-old Christopher David Vogel, was enraged that his neighbors refused to share their Wi-Fi with him, at which point he ran off with the dog.

The neighbors, who are both disabled, later found the small puppy whimpering in their stairwell, unable to move and bleeding from its nose. Tragically, the dog died from its injuries while en route to the vet. Vets later confirmed that the puppy died as a result of major spinal trauma.

Police believe that the suspect has fled into the woods and has since remained at large. If Vogel did snap this puppy’s neck, he is likely a violent sadist who should be considered extremely dangerous and must be caught. Sign this petition to demand that the Des Moines police do what they can to ensure he is found and that justice is served for this puppy.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Chief Wingert,

A three-month-old puppy was found with a snapped neck in Des Moines, allegedly after a young man became involved in a dispute with its owners over Wi-Fi. According to reports, the dog was found whimpering and unable to move, and later died due to its injuries. The suspect, Christopher David Vogel, remains at large. As long as he is free, justice cannot be served for this poor puppy.

This is a particularly heinous act of animal cruelty. We urge you to do everything you can within your power to ensure that this violent individual is caught and punished before he can cause harm to another innocent living thing.

Sincerely,
