Justice for Dog with Large Tumor Allegedly Starved and Neglected

Target: Shannon L. Taylor, Commonwealth’s Attorney for Henrico County, Virginia

Goal: Demand that the woman who allegedly starved her dog and neglected to provide her with medical care receive the maximum penalty under law.

A dog had to be euthanized after she was allegedly starved and denied medical care. The dog’s owner, Orquidea Tyndall stated, “I’m being accused of animal cruelty and all this craziness when in all my life I’ve never even had a charge. I loved my dog.” Demand justice for this innocent dog.

“Her eyes were very mucous-like and you could tell the dog was very distressed and sick,” stated a concerned neighbor. Police responded to the neighbors call and found the dog, Diamond, in poor condition. Diamond was reportedly emaciated and had a large tumor hanging from her chest. Tyndall denied neglecting Diamond and claimed that she did not have the money to bring her to the vet.

Diamond had to be euthanized due to the seriousness of her illness. Tyndall was charged with felony animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that Tyndall receive the maximum penalty under law, if convicted.

Dear Commonwealth’s Attorney Taylor,

A dog suffered tremendously and had to be euthanized after she was allegedly starved and neglected. The dog reportedly had a massive tumor hanging from her chest and her ribs showed through her skin. We demand justice for this poor dog.

Photos taken by a concerned neighbor tell a heartbreaking story. In the images, 14-year-old Diamond’s ribs showed through her skin and the only weight on her fragile body was the giant tumor hanging from her chest. She was reportedly left alone in her front yard with no food or water and appeared distressed.

This horrific cruelty must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
