Two dogs nearly died when they were reportedly left in a hot car for over an hour. Per police, the dogs were trapped in direct sunlight and the temperature in the car read 167 degrees. Demand justice for these poor dogs.

“We got here just in time to save these animals’ lives,” stated an officer on the scene. The Roswell Police Department arrived at a local movie theater parking lot to find two dogs in poor condition. One of the dogs was reportedly aggressive from heat and fear and the other crawled under the front seat to escape the sunlight. One dog had a heat stroke seizure after rescue and nearly died.

Both dogs survived and were taken by Fulton County Animal Control. The owner was charged with two counts of animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that the owner receive the maximum penalty under law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Howard,

Two dogs suffered tremendously when they were reportedly left in a hot car for over an hour. One of the dogs had a heat stroke seizure and they both nearly died. We demand justice for these poor dogs.

“The windows were actually cracked, all of the windows were cracked, but that doesn’t mean, you know, that the car is getting any sort of breeze,” stated Lisa Holland, an officer with the Roswell Police Department. There was reportedly no shade in the car and the temperature inside read 167 degrees at the time of the rescue.

This horrific neglect must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,
