Target: U.K. Parliament
Goal: Outlaw the purchase of animal crush videos, which feature animals being sadistically tortured
Animal crush videos feature quite possibly the most sadistic forms of animal cruelty and torture, and are usually performed on smaller animals. These can include kittens, puppies, mice, and bunnies that are filmed while someone purposely tortures them with all means of sadistic violence imaginable. Animals are burned, stabbed, beaten, skinned alive, and most often, have their bodies crushed. Any means are used to crush animals including the use of various body parts, but a common method is by someone standing in high heels.
The purpose of these videos is mainly for erotic and sexual gratification purposes. It is hard to believe that people would purchase and view these videos for pleasure, and that is exactly why this must be stopped. The lives of these animals are being exploited and literally crushed while sending a sick and twisted message to the public: ultimately, that it is okay to hurt innocent animals.
This attitude will continue to thrive as long as these videos are shown. They will only cause further desensitization to violence among the public, and will pave the way for people to gradually branch out to exacting violence on fellow human beings.
Sign this petition to urge the United Kingdom’s Parliament to outlaw these sadistic ‘animal crush’ videos. The United States has already made several restrictions to violent material shown in crush videos, and other countries should do the same. Voice your opposition to the torture of innocent animals and stop these videos from circulating today.
Dear Members of the U.K. Parliament,
I am writing to urge you to outlaw the cruel and sadistic ‘animal crush’ videos, which depict small animals such as kittens or bunnies being tortured. In these videos, various animals are shown being burned, beaten, stabbed, skinned alive, and crushed, usually by another person’s foot. This is all for the purpose of sexual gratification, in a sick and twisted display of torture.
Please stop this form of violent media. As long as videos like these continue to be sold for entertainment, it will only encourage the desensitization of violence to the general public. It is not okay to permit the sale of these videos that promote the use of violence as well as animal cruelty. Animals do not deserve to be subjected to this and filmed for entertainment.
