Charge Officers Accused of Using Rape as Punishment

Target: Peter Newsham, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia

Goal: Suspend from duty and press charges against police officers accused of sexually assaulting journalists and protesters.

A group of journalists and activists are suing Washington D.C. and three police officers over allegations they were sexually abused after being arrested.

The arrests took place during the inauguration of President Donald Trump. According to the plaintiffs, police illegally arrested peaceful protesters, kettling hundreds of demonstrators and using excessive force. Then, male protesters were allegedly ordered to remove their pants. According to a statement from photojournalist Shay Horse, police grabbed their testicles, and rammed their fingers up the protesters’ anuses. Other officers watched on and laughed.

“I felt like they were using molestation and rape as punishment,” Horse said.

The police department has responded by stating it will investigate the matter, but has so far refused calls to suspend the officers allegedly involved. If you believe police should be held to higher standards than this, then sign our petition demanding the officers allegedly involved face criminal charges, and be removed from active duty immediately.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Chief Newsham,

A group of your officers allegedly made a number of illegal arrests of peaceful protesters before molesting them. Your department says it will look into the matter, but on the face of it, this response sounds a lot like more of the same lackluster rhetoric we’ve become used to hearing from police departments facing misconduct allegations.

Actions speak louder than words, and we demand you take immediate action to suspend the officers allegedly involved from active duty. All officers facing credible allegations should be charged, and face the full force of the law.

Sincerely,

  1. Absolutely sickening. If these allegations are true, the offending cops should be convicted, imprisoned and listed as sex offenders for the remainder of their lives.
How many times do cops commit sexual assaults and rapes and people don’t come forward about it, because they fear they wouldn’t be believed, and/or they are threatened?
It’s time that cops stop getting away with their crimes!!!

    • I agree. How can we be proud Americans when this is what the world sees.

    • I agree with you B Denno.

The list of sexual offenses is somewhat unworthy of a human society where the individual’s privacy should be prioritized.

Of course, sex abuse on children is horrific, without a doubt. I don’t question that for what ever reason.

But to disclose people, regardless of what crime is committed, I do not consider being more righteous than medieval witch hunting, which clearly generates a stigmatization which in the long run undermines a righteous society.

    • I meant I agree with B Denno, except the list of sexual offenses.

      • I admit I was being hasty in saying that they should be listed as sex offenders for the rest of their lives.
I generally agree with you that listing people can turn into a witch hunt.
Some people are able to change and be rehabilitated, and should not have this stigma on them.
I agree with you that child sex offenders should be listed, as they are usually incapable of being rehabilitated and therefore a danger to children.
Thank you for bringing this issue up.

        • Dear B Denno.

Thank you for your honest second thoughts that really show how honest and open you are, which I highly respect.

But I’m sorry to have to correct you at one point, which means I’m against public records of people, no matter what the purpose is.

In Sweden there is a system of registering people by the state with their peronenumber and four last digits that indicate exactly who it is.

This registration with the peron number and the last four digits are held by a number of instances such as hospitals, banks, police etc.
The personal information is not public, but unfortunately, as much other information, it is misused for personal purposes which may inflict on a human been into an extremely dramatic and painful situation.

Sweden as well as probably the United States, is presumably the opinion of the sex offenders list divergent, but in my perceive is that such a published registration testifies to a society and its legal system in degeneration.
No matter how abusive the crime may be, personal privacy must be protected.

Take good care of you my friend.

          • Dear Bengt – Thank you for your response and for your very kind statements. I have high respect for you and value your opinions.
This information about the peronenumber and four last digits in Sweden is news to me. The fact that this number is held by agencies such as hospitals, banks etc., I do find very disturbing. It sounds pretty Orwellian, and I can see it having huge possibilities for abuse of a person, and for discrimination and even persecution.
They may even have such a system here in North America and people are not aware of it yet.
These are things that I need to look into more and think about.
Thank you Bengt my friend. You please take care too.

  2. Gen Lovyet Agustsson says:

    abolish rape now!

  3. RAPE IS A SEROIUS CRIME! FIRE THAT COP AND PROSECUTE FOR RAPE, FELONY AND TROWM IN PRISON. PLUS, DITCH THE KEY FOREVER!

  4. Caryl Sawyer says:

As retired law enforcement, I am disgusted. But it was only a matter of time before this sort of sick behaviour began. Police departments all over America have been condoning illegal actions. These are not real law enforcement, and whomever hired them should be punished.

  5. Kathryn Irby says:

THESE COPS SHOULD NOT JUST BE SUSPENDED FOR THEIR ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF JOURNALISTS AND PROTESTERS–THEY SHOULD BE FIRED!!! (MORE IDEALLY, EXECUTION WOULD STOP THEIR PERVERSE ACTS PERMANENTLY!!) IT IS LONG PAST TIME THAT COPS ALSO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR KILLINGS OF INNOCENT CITIZENS WHO ARE MINDING THEIR OWN DAMN BUSINESS!!

  6. Selena Brooks says:

Disgusting and people wonder why they can never get justice when it involves cops. It’s a freaking joke and the courts will ALWAYS side with cops.

  7. Such guys give good policemen a bad name! The punishment should fit the crime!

  8. What has this got to do with Animal Petitions – the only category of petitons that I am signed up to receive.

Has the maker of this petition wrongly categorized it on purpose – to give it a wider distribution??

Frankly I don’t care what happens to Antifa Anarchists who are trying to destroy our country. They are committing far worse acts on others (attempted murder) and getting away with it.

    • Let’s not forget that these people are the ones attacking police horses with lumbar affixed with 6in spikes!
