Uber Driver Reportedly Killed By Teen Deserves Justice

Target: Kimberly M. Foxx, State’s Attorney for Cook County, Illinois

Goal: Demand that the teenager who allegedly stabbed an Uber driver to death receive the maximum penalty by law.

An Uber driver was allegedly stabbed to death by a teenage passenger. The passenger reportedly used a stolen knife and machete in the gruesome attack. Demand justice for this innocent man.

“It was just, ‘Help me. God help me, please. I’m gonna die.’ At the top of his lungs,” stated Jay Markicic, a Lincolnwood resident. Grant Nelson ran toward Markicic’s condominium for help after 16-year-old Eliza Wasni reportedly attacked him from the backseat of his car. Nelson described his attacker to officers shortly before he died, reportedly stating that she was a white, female juvenile.

Nelson was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he died from his injuries. Wasni was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. She was charged as an adult. Sign below and demand that Wasni receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear State’s Attorney Foxx,

An Uber driver was heinously attacked, allegedly by his teenage passenger. The driver suffered serious slash and stab wounds that led to his death. We demand justice for this innocent man.

“He was always happy, just always a nice person. He really didn’t deserve what happened to him,” stated Mike Foley, a friend of the victim. Per authorities, the attack occurred only two minutes after Nelson picked Wasni up for an Uber ride. Wasni reportedly stole the knife and the machete from a local Walmart store only moments prior and used them to stab Nelson from behind.

This horrific murder must not go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

Maximum Penalty for teenager, who unquestionably should be tried as an Adult, for stabbing an Uber driver to death!!! This is Unacceptable!!!

  2. Margaret Melnick says:

I am not sure what is Unacceptable, the teenager stabbing the driver or the teenager being charged as an adult? I feel the teenager knew what she was doing and it is acceptable in fact I woulds state should be mandatory she be charged as an adult. Do the crime do the time. No more kid gloves.
