Justice for 31 Animals Allegedly Neglected and Starved

Target: Kelli P. McCoski, District Attorney for Montgomery County, New York

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the woman who allegedly starved and neglected 31 farm animals.

Thirty-one farm animals were reportedly starved to the point of being famished — they were also kept in deplorable conditions. They were reportedly covered in feces and had no access to food or water. Demand justice for these innocent animals.

“It’s not fair to the animals that have to stand and look at food and don’t have it,” stated Arhianna Fleres, a concerned neighbor. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office reported that the goats, pigs, sheep, donkeys, and horses were all filthy, starving, and had no access to food or water on the property. Some of the animals even broke out of their cages to steal food from the neighbors.

Amy Person has been charged with 31 counts of animal cruelty. Per police, this is her second arrest related to animal cruelty. The animals are being cared for by the Montgomery County SPCA. Sign below and demand that Person receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear District Attorney McCoski,

Thirty-one farm animals suffered tremendously when they were allegedly denied food and water. The animals were reportedly forced to break out of their cages to find food elsewhere. We demand justice for these innocent animals.

“They’re not eating well, they keep escaping and going into all the neighbor’s yards for grass and food,” stated Cheryl Derosa, a neighbor. She and other neighbors reported that the pigs, including two piglets, were so famished that they ate a neighbor’s pumpkins and destroyed an adjacent property.

No animal should have to suffer the agony of starvation. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
