Stop Designer from Using Tortured Animals on Clothing

Target: Francesca Bellettini, CEO of Yves Saint Laurent

Goal: Stop Yves Saint Laurent from using fur in its products.

Yves Saint Laurent is a popular designer that sells products all over the world, but unfortunately still supports the cruel fur industry and uses fur on many of its products. It is time to stop supporting a trade that tortures and kills animals for profit.

Animals held on fur farms are typically kept in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to sunshine, food, and clean water. Each day is filled with misery and pain as these animals wait for their untimely deaths. The animals are killed in whatever way is deemed cheapest and most convenient. Common ways include neck-breaking, strangulation, suffocation, poisoning, and anal electrocution.

Sign this petition and demand Yves Saint Laurent stop using fur and begin using the countless, alternative cruelty-free materials available.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Ms. Bellettini,

Despite knowing animals are tortured and killed for their coats, your company continues to use fur on many of its products. It is time to stop supporting this cruel industry and start utilizing the many cruelty-free, alternative materials that are available.

Animals held on fur farms are denied everything natural to them. They are typically held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to sunshine, food, and clean water. Often times the animals do not see sunshine until it is time to be killed. The animals, who are still quite young, are killed in whatever way the industry deems most convenient. Common ways include strangulation, neck-breaking, suffocation, poisoning, and anal electrocution.

Please consider no longer using fur on your products. No animal should suffer and be killed for an article of clothing.

Sincerely,

  2. Yves Saint Laurent’s involvement in the cruel fur industry is INEXCUSABLE. They may only change when they lose enough MONEY because of people boycotting them. Hope many people WILL boycott this horrible company.

  3. END THE CRUELTY ON THESE GREAT LIVES FOR THIS NOW.

  4. Stop & pursue this criminal rabble and this deformity  –  instantly!

BARBARIC, GREED AND BRAINLESS and not able to think human?

Not humane than barbaric, really stupid and worthless criminal and ignorant ASSHOLES, which should be banned on an island for their whole lives! Or not?

This is insane! After all these years companies still don’t understand. Fur coats of any kind are not necessary. Please stop breeding animals for any sort of accessory. Animals, no matter which way they are bred, suffer at your hands. There isn’t any positive reason that comes out of breeding an innocent animal for human unnecessary wants. The torture, torment, anguish and pain these beautiful animals have to endure just to satiate the selfish wants of a human being are not acceptable. You need to stop this barbaric industry.
