Target: Caroline A. Wojtaszek, District Attorney for Niagara County, New York

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the man who allegedly beat his puppy with an unknown object, causing the puppy to scream in pain.

A 7-month-old puppy suffered terribly after his owner allegedly beat him with an unknown object. A witness recorded the alleged beating and the puppy was heard screaming in pain. Demand justice for this innocent puppy.

“He was very happy to see me, but submissively urinated when I reached for him. Once we made friends, he was in my lap,” stated Niagara County SPCA Executive Director Amy Lewis. Spike, a Doberman Pinscher, was reportedly dragged up the stairs by the scruff of his neck and beaten with an unknown object. In the recording, Spike could be heard screaming and his owner could be heard yelling.

Jay Kenneth was arrested and charged with one count of felony animal cruelty. The SPCA took Spike into their custody. Sign below and demand that Kenneth receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear District Attorney Wojtaszek,

A puppy suffered terribly after he was reportedly beaten with an unknown object. Investigators reported that the puppy was weary of physical contact and afraid of his owner. Demand justice for this innocent puppy.

Though Spike had no apparent injuries, his suffering could be heard in his intense screams of pain. Witnesses reportedly saw Kenneth drag Spike into the house and then recorded the audio of the beating. When questioned by sheriffs, Kenneth reportedly had a dog bite on his hand.

This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  1. The puppy probably did something puppyish like chewing or peeing in the house. Why did this idiot think beating will teach anything other than fear and possibly aggression? Kenneth should be taught a lesson by the prison inmates when he’s incarcerated.

  2. angelina ricketts says:

No pets has never done anythink even if they have there’s no reason to beat this pup with an object what a cynt. I’ve me that cunt I show him what real pain is x

  3. Oh what a big guy! Beat anything that upsets you. What goes around comes around. Think of Spike when someone beats you and you’re howling like a puppy.

  4. Elizabeth Rose says:

I’ll never forget when my father did this to my puppy when I was a child (8). She had peed in the house while were out to dinner, and the a$$hole just lost it. The whole family tried to stop him and my mother kept saying, “she’s a puppy, puppies pee.”. I was sure he killed the little dog, but mercifully, Twink survived, and the vet said she just had bruising from her “fall down the steps.”

Obviously, Dad had other (major) issues, and poor Twink was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But I never trusted or respected him again. He abused his kids too, but I think this episode was even worse than the direct abuse. It also taught me to scoop Twink up whenever we came home and put her in my room while I cleaned up accidents, because I had no confidence she would survive a second beating.

It’s important to remember that violence has ripple effects, especially when it is directed at the most vulnerable.

    • That must have scarred you for life. I’m so very sorry for what Twink and your entire family sans your dad experienced! <3

I pretend my mum if she ever touch my dig again I would killer. I was about 7 then. I was aboused my self by my mum but if the kids did anythink wrong I wouldn’t let her touch them or my dog I say hit me instead I can take it. X

  7. this scumbag needs to beaten within an inch of his life. There is NO EXCUSE
for this kind of abuse. The dog should be taken away from him and he
should never be able to own any animal ever again. He needs to be put on
the abuser list and posted on the FBI WEBSITE. When anyone witnesses an
animal being abused they should have the right to make an arrest or shoot
the person in the leg, arm,or shoulder to stop them. No one should be held
accountable for saving an animal any way they can at the time. This scumbag
needs to go to jail where he can be beat up everyday of his life.

  8. Alice Knight says:

What a horrible human being. The courts need to give this individual the maximum sentence. Show this person they cannot escape from this crime and to show others what their consequences will be . Don’t turn your back on other living beings.

  9. Jay Kenneth should NEVER be allowed to be near any living species! He’s obviously mentally unstable and deserves a much harsher sentence, it’s just as good as ignoring what happened which is exactly will be the final outcome of youe idea of so called justice except that the next time you’re going to find a dead puppy, kitten, bunny, etc., etc., etc.
Having a “pet” is a privilege and a lifetime commitment to love unconditionally, have concern, compassion, a very strong sense of responsibility and their needs come before your own. I don’t believe he’s capable of one single point I brought up, throw him away in prison for a few years. I’d prefer an eye for an eye but that’s never going to happen, not until somebody catches him doing it again.,. damn humans! Get justice for Spike!
