Protest Appointment of Trump’s Son-in-Law to New White House Post

Target: Attorney General Jeff Sessions

Goal: Investigate the legality of Jared Kushner leading a new White House office under Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has tapped his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to head a new White House office that will determine solutions to government problems and aim to fulfill Trump’s campaign promises with the help of business leaders.

The office will be called the White House Office of American Innovation, and Kushner will lead a group of business executives in an effort to privatize certain government functions and use business ideas to find solutions to issues facing the Trump administration. Kushner will report directly to Trump if appointed to head this group.

Kushner is not only the president’s son-in-law, but he is also due to be questioned by a committee of Senate investigators over his potential involvement in the role that Russia may have played in November’s presidential election. Kushner already serves as an adviser to Trump, and his appointment to this new post would increase the atmosphere of nepotism and questionable ethics in the new administration.

Please sign the below petition to oppose this new conflict of interest within the Trump administration.

Dear Attorney General Sessions,

Donald Trump has tapped his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to lead the White House Office of American Innovation, which will gather business leaders and seek out new solutions to fulfill Trump’s campaign promises and potentially privatize certain government functions.

Kushner is married to Trump’s daughter and already serves as one of his advisers, which has raised concern about nepotism and questionable ethics within the Trump White House. Kushner’s appointment to lead a new White House office would only add to this concern in an already-troubled political environment. In addition, Kushner is due to be questioned by a committee of Senate investigators over his potential involvement in the relationship between the Trump administration and Russia.

I urge you to investigate the legality of Kushner’s role as a presidential adviser and his potential role as the head of the White House Office of American Innovation. A relative of Donald Trump’s who is coming under investigation regarding a potentially hacked American election should not be appointed to a post such as this one. I ask that you use your position as Attorney General of the United States to investigate this matter to the fullest extent.

  1. At least it’s not his SCUMMY SONS who LOVE TO MURDER INNOCENT ANIMALS IN AFRICA AND DECAPITATE THEM SO THEY CAN HANG THEIR HEADS ON THEIR WALLS! There is absolutely nothing about this so-called president that is redeeming.

  2. Kathryn Irby says:

Nepotism is Unacceptable, which, of course, is all Trump’s farce of an “administration” is!!!!! Unacceptable!!!!

  3. This is nepotism but they are trying to use some technical loophole to justify it. Trump is bringing his family in on his presidency. It’s almost like a kingship, rather than a presidency.
There are also serious conflicts of interest with Jared Kushner having strong ties to Israel’s Zionist government, having family ties to Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu – the brutal oppressor of the Palestinians – and his having donated money for the illegal settlements in the West Bank in Israel.
Hope he is booted out of this position.
