Target: Dennis Mock, Mayor of Dalton, Georgia
Goal: Cancel plans with Garden Bros. Circus due to its alleged animal abuse.
Garden Bros. Circus has a suspicious history of alleged abuse and neglect towards its animals. The circus is currently touring the U.S., and one of its next stops is the Northwest Georgia Trade & Convention Center. It is time to stop supporting this cruel form of entertainment.
According to a whistle-blower, the manager of Garden Bros. Circus, Zachary Garden, beats his animals, withholds food from them and denies them veterinary care. The informant also claimed that Mr. Garden once hit a zebra so hard he fell to his knees and then the ground.
The elephants currently traveling with Garden Bros. Circus were provided by Carson & Barnes Circus, which also has a questionable past. The head trainer was caught on camera beating and shocking his elephants while they screamed in pain.
Sign this petition and demand that Northwest Georgia Trade & Convention Center cancel its plans with Garden Bros. Circus. No animal should be abused and neglected for human entertainment.
Dear Mayor Mock,
The Northwest Georgia Trade & Convention Center is planning on hosting Garden Bros. Circus despite its suspicious past of allegedly abusing and neglecting its animals. It is time to stop supporting this cruel industry and cancel plans with this circus.
According to an informant, the manager of Garden Bros. Circus, Zachary Garden, often beats his animals, withholds food from them and denies them veterinary care. In addition, Mr. Garden allegedly hit a zebra with a long stick that had a blunt, metal end. The impact was so hard that the animal fell to the ground.
Please consider canceling your plans with Garden Bros. Circus. Animals are not objects and need to stop being treated as such. No animal should suffer for human entertainment.
