Protect U.S. Voting System from Fraud

Target: Rep. Gregg Harper, Chairman of the Committee on House Administration

Goal: Reverse decision to defund the Election Administration Commission.

Despite President Trump’s bold, baseless claims that he lost the popular vote due to widespread voter fraud, House Republicans have just voted to defund the Election Administration Commission (EAC), the very body responsible for protecting America’s voting systems.

The EAC was created with bipartisan support in hopes of preventing future voting catastrophes. It has played an important role in setting federal standards for voting and securing Americans’ votes. Taking away the EAC’s federal funding exposes voter security to unnecessary risk. Tell the Committee on House Administration that this reckless decision must be reversed as soon as possible.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Representative Harper,

I do not support the House’s decision to gut the Election Administration Commission’s funding. The right to vote is a sacred one, and the American people must be able to trust their government to protect its sanctity and integrity. Defunding the EAC accomplishes the complete opposite, leaving voters and the voting system as a whole more vulnerable to security breaches and fraud.

I demand that the House reverse its decision and restore federal funding to the EAC to protect the best interests of American voters.

Sincerely,
