Justice for Dog Thrown from SUV on Highway

Target: Dave Aronberg, State Attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the person who threw a dog out of the window of an SUV while driving on a highway.

A dog was thrown from the passenger side window of an SUV while it was in motion. The dog wasn’t hurt, but appeared severely emaciated. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

“It was so sad. I couldn’t stop crying. Who can do this to a dog?,” stated Lisa Gabrielle, a witness. She was driving by on the same highway when the dog, a male Dalmatian, was pushed from the window. Apparently unharmed, he chased after the SUV as it sped away from the scene. Gabrielle caught the dog and put him in her car. She tried to catch up to the SUV, but it was too late.

The dog is recovering at Florida’s Tri-County Animal Rescue. Authorities have no suspects in this case, but are investigating. Sign below and demand that animal cruelty charges be pursued in this case.

Dear District Attorney Aronberg,

An emaciated Dalmatian was thrown from a speeding SUV on a highway. He desperately chased after the SUV as it sped away. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

“I want justice for this poor dog. And I want to be the voice for this poor guy,” stated Gabrielle, a witness. She and the volunteers at the Tri-County Animal Rescue worked hard to save the frightened dog. He was so emaciated that his bony hips and spine poked through his skin. He wore a collar, but had no tags and no chip. Veterinarians estimated that he is only about a year old.

This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you prosecute this case and seek the maximum penalty by law.

  2. Alice Knight says:

This sort of behavior needs addressing. This individual needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent. Mr. Aronberg, I ask you, do you think that this act of animal cruelty, abuse and neglect should go unpunished? Justice needs to be served and it’s up to you to do the right thing for this crime.

  3. Please prosecute this individual to the highest extent of the law!!! He will probably do it again to another innocent animal or human!!!

  5. I’m afraid that without a license plate number it’s a lost cause. But I agree the low life P.O.S. should be made an example of. It’s time we make owning an animal a real responsibility and not just a spur of the moment thing and when reality sets in-oh, gee I don’t have the time to take care of this frigging dog/cat or oh, I don’t have the money to buy dog/cat food or the money for shots or for spaying/neutering or vet bills when the animal gets sick. We need to start making every animal born a priory, if its born to a breeders dog it should be microchipped to its new owner when sold. If it is to a backyard breeder then a law passed that makes that person register all pups born thereby they should all be microchipped to anyone that he sells or gives a pup to and of course if pups are turned into a shelter they will microchip. Look every state has its own way to handle a new system but it’s easier to figure out a new system and have a way to track down every dog/cat or it’s abuser. Then owning a pet won’t be just a spur of the moment thing, but hopefully they will think about it before taking it home. Love and Good luck to all the animals of this WORLD.

  6. Gabrielle, Thank God for people like you. The dog was trying to get back to the people who tossed him away. How sad!!!! He must be so confused as to what he did to get thrown away like garbage. I pray for the poor dog. I also pray that who ever did this will feel 10 times the pain and sorrow this poor dog is feeling. Also I hope the people starve as well for the rest of thier lives. This poor dog should have a loving home with people as loyal as he is, fresh water and food with proper medical care but most of all LOVE. Thank you Gabrielle, the earth needs more people like you.

  7. Disgusting people, karma will catch up with them. Thank goodness the dog wasn’t hurt and is being looked after.

  8. Gabrielle. .. you are an angel. I hope they find these people and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, place picture and name on a Animal Abuse Registry for ALL to see!
