Justice for Dog Allegedly Neglected and Allowed to Suffer Needlessly

Target: Anthony D. Gulluni, District Attorney for Hampden County, Massachusetts

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the man and woman who allegedly neglected their dog’s progressive illness, allowing her to suffer needlessly.

A dog was brought into an animal shelter sick and emaciated. She had reportedly suffered for months before her owners surrendered her. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

Bella was in such poor condition when Ronnie and Sarah Crapps brought her into the Dakin Humane Society’s shelter that shelter officials assumed she was there to be euthanized. Instead, her owners reportedly denied knowledge of Bella’s health problems and said that they could no longer take care of her. Bella suffered from chronic infections of her skin, ears, urinary tract and mammary glands. She was emaciated and unable to walk.

Bella remained at the shelter for veterinary care and is improving. Ronnie and Sarah Crapps were each charged with animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that they receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Gulluni,

A dog nearly died after her serious illnesses were allegedly left untreated for months. Her owners reportedly denied knowledge of her maladies. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

When a veterinarian first saw Bella, she was appalled by the dog’s physical condition. The pit bull terrier’s ribs showed through her skin and she could not walk on her own. She suffered from a fever caused by multiple untreated infections. Though her owners reportedly claimed that she was elderly, it is estimated that Bella is only 2 years old.

This poor dog suffered due to her owners’ alleged neglect. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

  3. Paula Eggleston says:

Please punish these animal abusers to the fullest extent of the law, and prevent them from owning another animal ever again! No animal should suffer the way this poor dog did…horrific. Hope they don’t have children…

  4. Cynthia Mattera says:

They didn’t realize she had health issues? Really??? Good, charge them both with a felony! This poor girl suffered for a long time and they did NOTHING about it. Its time people be held accountable for animal neglect and abuse!

  6. i so hope that these two sick bastards suffer all the rest of their lives with painful sickening illnesses.

  7. Problem is: if these people are PUNISHED because they (apparently) could not afford veterinarian treatment for their dog, then the next people in the same situation will allow their dog to die rather than risk being prosecuted.

I understand this is a complex and difficult problem…..clearly, they should not have allowed the dog to get into this condition….they could have turned her over to a shelter but she almost definitely would have been killed in that case. WHAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO??

  8. HELL AWAITS THESE STUPID TURDS NOW. JUSTICE FOR BELLA THE DOG NOW.

  11. april Huckaby says:

The soul of a man can be reflected in many ways. One is in how he cares for his/her animals.
These people, to watch an animal suffer, obviously have no soul.
    It is vile and disgusting.
To the pieces of Crapp, hope maximum penalty is given.

A dog is one being that will love you more than yourself in this world.

    He deserved better
