Justice for Innocent Cat Shot and Killed in Cold Blood

Target:  Keith M. Kaneshiro, Prosecuting Attorney for Honolulu County, Hawaii

Goal: Demand that the person who shot a cat resulting in its death be faced with the maximum penalty possible.

A cat was shot with a BB gun or pellet gun, leading to its death. The person responsible is still at large. Demand that justice is served for this innocent cat.

“I could hear what sounded like a gun cranking or a BB gun or air gun or pellet gun cranking. It sounded like it was coming from right outside my front window. Not more than 15 minutes after that, I could hear rambling coming through my garage like the cat was scrambling,” stated Vanessa Nacorda, a Kalaeloa resident. The cat died on her doorstep just moments after the gun blast. Police confirmed that either a BB gun or a pellet gun was used in the attack.

This is the third known incident of a cat being hurt or killed in the area in the last month. Police are investigating but have no suspects yet. Sign below and demand that this person face the maximum penalty in this case.

Dear Prosecuting Attorney Kaneshiro,

A cat was shot and killed by an unknown perpetrator. This is just one of multiple incidents where a cat has been hurt or killed in the Kalaeloa area. We demand that justice is served for this innocent cat.

“It’s animal cruelty. They shouldn’t even be out doing what they’re doing,” stated Vanessa Nacorda. The escalation of animal attacks in Kalaeloa has alarmed local residents. Two feral cats were shot with bow and arrows in separate incidents over the past month. Though the neighborhood has a high population of feral cats, Nacorda reports that they generally keep to themselves.

The person who committed these acts of cruelty must be stopped. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  2. Individuals who kill innocent, helpless animals are the Future Serial Killers. Don’t let this scum escape from the justice system. Eventually he/she will end up wanting to taste the more blood baths and go on rampage murdering many other innocent Animals and the vulnerable humans alike. Find the scum and punish the turd to the Fullest extent. No excuse for such cruelty…

  3. Anne Moeller Anne Moeller says:

Before putting this inhumane person behind bars- shoot him in the butt with his gun and let him sit in the sell with no pain medication for a VERY long time! Anne Moeller

  4. There’s far too much of this sort of mindless, senseless cruelty going on. Have these morons got nothing to do to fill in their useless days? I would suggest some hard physical labour- cleaning streets and toilets, hard digging jobs etc. Make decent citizens of them instead of the useless pathetic cowards they are now.

  5. Elaine Benson says:

Future Serial Killers at their best!!!!! Really again humans are just unbelievable!!! Why do this???? Because they can and suffer no consequences!!!!!! People have got to step up for these innocent animals who want nothing more then to be loved!!!!!

  6. Installation of cameras in the neighborhood might deter the shooter, if he doesn’t shoot those, too. Cat owners need to keep them indoors at all times. Feral cats, unfortunately, don’t have that luxury, but are still pretty savvy at avoiding people who don’t feed them. A cat sanctuary would be a great thing to open for the homeless cats. Spaying and neutering could also be a great campaign to reduce the number of cats on the streets. Trap, neuter, release programs won’t work as long as there are shooters out there. When shooters are found, a mandatory jail sentence of at least 10 yrs might be a deterrence. Vote it in people of Hawaii.

I agree completely. Besides cameras to deter this kind of violence, what about preventing the sale of these types of guns? Other than harming humans and animals, what are BB guns or pellet guns used for anyway? I looked it up. Apparently, there are competitions. Wow! Competitions! Who can best aim to shoot someone’s eye out? I know this leads to the bigger issue of gun control, but, what is wrong with gun control? Guns are dangerous.

  7. May Pele eat you alive!
