Poodle Found Near Death in Trash Can Deserves Justice

Target: James O’Neill, New York Police Commissioner

Goal: Find and severely punish whoever is responsible for the poodle found in a trash can with a broken leg.

A 2-year-old poodle was found clinging to life in the bottom of a trash can at an apartment building. The animal had injuries to her face and a broken leg. The super of the building, who found the dog, says she appeared to be badly abused and just left for dead. Gladys Vasquez, one of the residents, says she’d seen the dog in the hallways with bruises all over her face and a broken leg. Vasquez and other residents gathered blankets and food, taking care of the poodle until police could arrive.

The poodle was then taken to the ASPCA where she’s receiving treatment, but the workers say it’s too early to know what to expect of her condition. Unfortunately, this poodle’s abuser remains at large and free to harm more innocent animals. Sign this petition to urge the authorities to do everything possible to find and severely punish the person who did this.

Dear Mr. O’Neill,

A poodle was left for dead in a trash can where she was found with facial injuries and a broken leg. It is believed that she’d been abused and tossed out like garbage.

This was a heartless act of cruelty to an innocent, defenseless animal that must not go unpunished. If this poodle’s abuser is allowed to continue walking the streets, free of punishment, they’ll become a danger to animals as well as humans. We implore you to do everything possible to make sure that the person who did this is found and severely punished.

  1. Find this bastard dog abuser and hand them over to me.I will help to enact the required payback ie turn them in to fertilizer!!

  2. Cynthia Gannon says:

Don’t they have surveillance in these places. It can’t be that difficult to track down this filth of a person.

  3. It is a sad state of our humanity that I read more of these of terrible things every day done to animals by so-called humans. I pray every night that God will punish these evil beings and hope that they all rot in hell forever. This person deserves nothing but the inside of a cell for the rest of their godforsaken life. Even that is too good for them. Cretins.

  4. “The only difference between a dog, cat, horse and dolphin and a cow, chicken, pig and turkey is perception. One is no more valuable than another. And yet in this culture, we hold the former animals in high esteem and the latter we brutalize for food. All animals are deserving of respect and freedom from violence. The way to respect others is veganism.”

  5. This really makes me sick. People in the building saw this poor dog in the hall. They should have called the police and the building owner. They know who this dog belongs too. They need procecuded and Jain time for what they have done to this poor little baby. Never should they be allowed to own a pet again.

  6. Another POS that uses power to do this to a dog. Give them a broken leg, facial injuries, throw them in a dumpster, have dumpster emptied and taken to land fill and let them be forgotten there. No mercy on them!!!

  7. Wendy Morrison says:

This poodle abuser deserves the exact torture as it inflicted on this innocent defenseless poodle!!! Then throw his sorry butt in ptmrison without any medical attention at all!!!

  8. This blatant abuse of a poor defenseless dog is unacceptable. The putrid offenders of this little dog must be punished to the fullest extent of our inadequate animal abuse laws!

  9. Animal abuse and cruelty needs to be taken very seriously, these abusers are criminals of the lowest kind. It would seem that such cases of extreme animal cruelty are on the rise, all the more reason that the law needs to focus on catching these people and punishing them to the fullest extent.
