Her video, showing the man hitting the camel, was uploaded to Facebook and went viral.
The man in the video is alleged to be Joseph P. Price, who has now been fired from the 5-H ranch and charged with animal cruelty. The living Nativity scene has been cancelled. Sign below to demand the maximum penalty in this case.
Dear County Attorney Hall,
A shocking video showed a man hitting a camel. The camel was to be a part of a living Nativity scene, which has since been cancelled. We demand justice for this innocent camel.
The video displayed a disturbing interaction between a ranch worker and a camel. The man appeared to want the camel to lie down. When the camel did not comply, the worker used force, punching the camel in the face. Witnesses recorded the interaction and posted it on Facebook, garnering over 130,000 views in just two days. The man shown in the video is alleged to be Joseph P. Price.
Animals are not here to do man’s bidding and they do not deserve to be abused. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
