Target: Tracy Lawson, Clayton County, Georgia District Attorney
Goal: Seek the maximum sentence for the people who reportedly starved dogs and left their dead bodies in a home with children.
The bodies of three dead dogs, one of which was reportedly still in a cage, were found in a home where they’d allegedly been starved to death. A detective said that the odor of urine and feces was overwhelming, and that all the floors were covered with feces and urine.
After receiving a tip about a dead dog in a cage, an animal control officer visited the home only to find three dead dogs and three innocent children living in deplorable conditions. The dogs’ bodies were infested with fleas so badly that it was difficult to tell what color their fur was, according to officers.
Two people, 33-year-old Ki-Kito Townsend and 32-year-old Kristina Prince, were arrested and charged with three counts of cruelty to children and three counts of animal cruelty. Please sign this petition to bring these helpless animals and children justice, and demand that Townsend and Prince receive the maximum penalty, if guilty.
Dear Ms. Lawson,
The bodies of three dead dogs, who’d allegedly been starved to death, were reportedly left inside a home where children were also present. According to reports, at least one of the dead dogs was still in a cage. Animal control officers say the dogs were infested with fleas and the floors were covered in urine, feces, and garbage.
There’s no excuse for forcing innocent, helpless animals and children to endure conditions this horrific. We urge you to seek the maximum penalty possible and a permanent ban from owning animals, if the accused owners are guilty.
