End Breeding of Dogs with Muscular Dystrophy for Animal Testing at French Veterinary School

Target: French charity Téléthon which funds these cruel experiments on dogs,

At France’s Alfort National Veterinary School, dogs are deliberately bred to develop crippling muscle diseases and spend their days struggling to walk, swallow, and even breathe. In the footage, one dog’s face is covered with vomit because his esophageal muscles have grown too weak to allow him to swallow properly. Drool drips from the mouths of dogs whose jaw muscles have weakened. Others struggle to even breathe. According to PETA’s undercover eyewitness, some can no longer eat normally and must be fed through a stomach tube. Those who survive long enough develop heart problems.

Please urge the French charity Téléthon to stop funding these cruel experiments on dogs and to fund only modern, non-animal studies.
