Justice for Animals Allegedly Decapitated and Frozen to Death

Target: Bianca Debaets, head of Brussels animal welfare

Goal: Permanently revoke university’s testing license after researchers allegedly decapitated and allowed laboratory animals to freeze to death.

The animal rights organization, Global Action in the Interest of Animals, uncovered disturbing cases of animals allegedly being decapitated and frozen to death by researchers at the Flemish Free University of Brussels. An undercover GAIA staff member said they witnessed negligence and a lack of compassion for the animals being used in tests.

According to the investigator, the researchers underestimated the suffering, angst, and pain endured by the poor laboratory animals.

Additional details surrounding the investigation have yet to come to light, but reports say that the university will examine whether they broke the law. In the meantime, the photos displaying horrific animal abuse were published by GAIA.

There’s no excuse for allowing these animals to suffer agonizing deaths and pain. Just because they plan to kill them after they use them shouldn’t justify the unnecessary pain and suffering they allegedly inflicted. Sign this petition to demand that the university be stripped of their testing license, if guilty.

Dear Ms. Debaets,

Researchers at the Flemish Free University of Brussels were allegedly exposed for committing disgusting acts of cruelty to the laboratory animals. According to an undercover GAIA investigator, the researchers were seen decapitating the poor animals and even allowing them to freeze to death.

It doesn’t matter that these cruel people plan to kill the lab animals. That shouldn’t justify causing them unnecessary pain and agonizing deaths. We demand that the university’s testing license be revoked indefinitely, if guilty.

  1. We should do the same to them.
Seriously though, animal experimentation is never right. Compared to the technologies we have today, it is a waste of time, money and precious life. That is life of both humans and animals.
