Target: Michael Morrissey, Norfolk County, Massachusettes District Attorney
Goal: Seek the maximum penalty for woman accused of stomping a kitten to death.
A woman is accused of stomping a tiny three-pound kitten to death in a drunken rage. According to police, the four-month-old kitten’s neck appeared broken and it looked like it had been “stomped and flattened by someone.” The woman, 35-year-old Eleanor Campbell, reportedly had blood all over her socks and legs, which police say, indicate that she was likely the person who stomped the kitten to death.
Police happened to see the kitten’s lifeless body lying in the driveway when they arrived to check a possible domestic disturbance. Police received a report that a woman was throwing things at her neighbor’s car. According to the charges, Campbell, who was dressed only in socks and a T-shirt, allegedly killed the kitten in an alcohol-induced rage.
This innocent kitten was savagely killed. Drunken or not, there’s no excuse that would justify the evil inflicted upon this tiny creature. Please sign this petition to demand that this woman be given the most severe penalty the law can allow, plus a lifetime ban from ever owning animals, if found guilty.
