Find Person Responsible for Burning Dog on the Roadside

Target: Steve Frazier, Chief of Police, Madera, California Police Department

Goal: Find and punish person responsible for dumping the burned carcasses of several animals on a roadside.

The burned remains of animals have been found along a road near Fresno, California. A couple made the disturbing discovery, which included the charred carcass of a dog that appeared to have been burned at the scene. The dump also appeared to include a goat and several other animals. The scene was also littered with butane cans.

Yvonne Wilson, one of the people who discovered the remains, said the scene was traumatizing. According to her, scorched skin was still visible on the dog’s face. She said the animal’s remains were clearly identifiable as a small dog, possibly even someone’s pet at one time.

Perhaps even more alarming than the scene itself is the fact that another like it was photographed by the same couple only a year ago. They suspect that a serial animal torturer could be operating in their community, a disconcerting thought as those who commit violence against animals could escalate their violence toward humans. The couple also expressed concern for farmers and pet owners in the area.

The person responsible for these heinous acts must immediately be found and punished, not only to bring justice to the dead animals but to save others from similar fates. Sign the petition below to ask the police to dedicate all available resources to finding and charging the person responsible for dumping the burned carcasses of several animals on a roadside.

Dear Mr. Frazier,

The charred remains of several animals were recently found on a roadside in Madera, California. The remains included those of a small dog, which appeared to have been burned on the side of the road. The skull of a goat was also found, along with the remains of several other animals. Butane cans also littered the scene.

The same couple who found this set of remains had also photographed a similar scene a year prior. This suggests that there could be a serial animal torturer on the loose. As you know, those who are violent toward animals could be likely to escalate their violence toward humans in the future.

In order to bring justice to these animals as well as save others in the future from the same fates, it is imperative that the person responsible is caught. We, the undersigned, ask that you dedicate all available resources to finding and charging the persn responsible for this gruesome crime.

  1. This is the work of a serious maniac who needs putting away for a very long time. He/she should not be at large and is a danger. Please catch and make an arrest before it’s too late.

  2. It sounds strange to me that the couple would have ran into this situation twice. Maybe they should be looked at.
