Black Church Burned and Vandalized by Trump Supporters: Demand Justice

Target: Freddie Cannon; Greenville, Mississippi Chief of Police

Goal: Demand vandals of a black church be found and convicted quickly.

The Hopewell Baptist church Mississippi was badly burned, a possible case of arson, and “Vote Trump” was discovered spray-painted on the side of the building. Hopewell is a black church, and with the recent news of the KKK’s endorsement of Trump, this news is even more troubling than such news would already be. There is no word yet on who committed such crimes, and the police are currently investigating.

This is far from the first time a black church has been attacked or vandalized, especially in this day and age. This act is just another sad, harsh reminder that as much as we would like to believe racism has been done away with in the past 50 years, it is still alive and well. With the 2016 presidential election coming, bigotry is at an all-time high among supporters of Donald Trump.

This blatant act of racially based hatred cannot go unpunished. Sign this petition to demand the culprits be found and made to face justice as quickly as possible.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Chief Cannon,

A black church has been vandalized and badly burned, a blatant act of racism. “Vote Trump” was spray-painted on the side of the building and has been clearly visible in all photos and sightings of the church, meaning this was most likely politically motivated as well. The presidential election is very soon, and Trump’s supporters have been more aggressive than usual.

Such a cruel, disgusting act cannot be left unpunished. No matter what someone’s political affiliations or race is, actions such as this are illegal and pointlessly aggressive. Please do everything in your power to find the culprits and punish them as quickly and harshly as possible.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Gen Lovyet Agustsson says:

    justice for black people

  2. There is no proof that this was a Trump supporter. This petition is premature. Whoever burned that church could very well have been attempting to move suspicions away from another group.

  3. Just because the criminals wrote Vote Trump does not mean they are Trump supporters. There is no proof.

Perhaps better to start a petition asking LAPD to find and prosecute all those who cruelly harassed the homeless 69 yeat old woman protecting Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

Plenty of proof and no question who those hoodlums sipported.

  4. Exactly has been done before.

  5. Wouldn’t it be possible that a Clinton supporter spray painted that to BLAME the Trump campaign? I quite honestly would believe that before a Trump supporter. With the stories of the DNC hiring people to vandalize, I would blame Soros and his big money and small head. Maybe those of you blaming Trump should take a look inside of the DNC first.
