Target: Alan Wilson, South Carolina Chief Prosecuting Officer
Goal: Make sure the person who kicked a small dog and threw it down a stairwell is found and given the most severe penalty possible.
A tiny dog was kicked and thrown down a stairwell by an unknown person in a video posted to Snapchat. The puppy can be heard crying as the person kicks him, then picks him up over his head before throwing him down the stairs. After the gut-wrenching video was sent to authorities, they charged Timothy Mister, the dog’s owner, for not taking the puppy for treatment after the abuse. Mister told outlets he wasn’t aware that the incident had occurred until police showed up, and he claims not to know the person who hurt the dog. Mister reportedly officers that he didn’t want to get anyone in trouble, so it seems he may actually be protecting the people who hurt his helpless pet.
The dog has been placed with animal control and is expected to recover. Unfortunately, authorities have yet to find the person who is seen in the video abusing the dog, and they’re urging people to come forward with information that could help.
The person who brutally assaulted this tiny dog is running the streets, endangering more innocent lives. Please urge the authorities to make sure this cruel person doesn’t escape justice and is given the most severe punishment the law will allow, when found.
