Target: Kym Ellery, Designer of Ellery

Goal: Stop using fur in apparel products.

Australian designer, Ellery, continues to use fur in her products despite knowledge of the horrors of the fur industry. Fur comes from the bodies of tortured animals and it is time to stop supporting this cruel industry.

Animals on fur farms are typically held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food and water. After a short, sad life filled with fear and pain, these animals are killed in whatever way is cheapest and most convenient. Common ways are anal electrocution, suffocation, poisoning, neck-breaking and strangulation.

Sign this petition and demand Ellery stop using fur in her products. There are many cruelty-free alternatives out there and thus, there is no reason to continue torturing these animals for clothing.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Ms. Ellery,

Your brand continues to use fur in its products despite knowing that horrors that happen in the fur industry. Countless animals are tortured every day just for an article of clothing. It is time to stop supporting such a cruel industry.

Animals on fur farms live short, miserable lives. Their days are typically spent in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food and water. These animals experience pain and fear just like humans do, and unfortunately their lives are full of both. The animals are killed in whatever way is cheapest or most convenient. Typically it is done by strangulation, poisoning, neck-breaking, suffocation or anal electrocution.

Please consider ending the use of fur in your products. There are many alternatives available that do not cost a living being its life.

Sincerely,

  1. end the cruel killings for fur now.

  2. Beth Nordmeyer says:

Ms. Ellery, I am speechless at your horrid cruelty, why don’t you watch it??

  3. End these cruel killings

  4. More abysmal animal abuse coming from Australia. Please, break the mould of those horrific beings in the designer industry who advocate, encourage, pay for and actually use the products borne of the most abject and abominable cruelties on planet earth today. So many fashion models could not have been wrong in refusing to model fur in the 1970’s but they have obviously been blackmailed, through the use of whatever it is the designers use, to ensure the protestations did not last. Another tragedy born of the fashion cabal.
