Target: Stephen Kaufer, CEO of TripAdvisor
Goal: Thank TripAdvisor for refusing to profit from the exploitation of animals.
The world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor, has recently made a groundbreaking announcement. The company will no longer sell tickets to events that exploit animals — this includes swimming with dolphins, elephant rides, lion and tiger encounters, and much more.
Animals trapped in the entertainment industry face many hardships daily. Captive life is extremely detrimental to animals’ physical and mental health, and depending on the tasks these animals are forced to do, it could be even more detrimental.

Dear Mr. Kaufer,
Recently, your company made the groundbreaking decision to no longer sell tickets to events that exploit animals. This includes, but is not limited to, elephant rides, swimming with dolphins, and lion and tiger encounters.
Animals trapped in the entertainment industry face many hardships daily. Captivity and the particular tasks certain animals are forced to do often lead to serious mental and physical problems.
I wanted to thank you for making the compassionate choice and helping animals worldwide. I can only hope that more companies follow in your footsteps. It is up to us to help these animals and to give them the life they deserve.
