The deputy, whose name has not been released to the public, was reportedly blindfolded and forced into a car while walking in a parking lot. There, two men allegedly raped her for two hours before dropping her off in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Bruised and beaten, she then walked a half-mile to a nearby police station. The deputy was not in uniform at the time of the attack and did not know her attackers.
William Luth, 24, of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Brady Newman-Caddell, 21, of Independence, Missouri have both been charged with two counts of rape and aggravated sodomy and one count of kidnapping. Sign below and demand the maximum penalty in this case.
Dear District Attorney Howe,
An off-duty sheriff’s deputy was allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted while on her way to work. Two men have been charged in the case and are being held on $1 million bond. We demand justice for this innocent woman.
William Luth and Brady Newman-Caddell did not know the deputy personally, reports state. They were allegedly hunting for any victim for a planned sexual assault. They reportedly blindfolded the deputy, who was wearing street clothes at the time of the attack, and forced her into their car. They then allegedly raped her for two hours before dropping her off a half-mile from a police station.
The deputy survived the attack, but this assault will likely affect her for the rest of her life. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
