Target: Kathy Stevens, Founder of Catskill Animal Sanctuary
Goal: Applaud efforts to save 126 caged birds from misery.
A farm in Massachusetts, which is now thought to be the location of the largest case of farmed animal abuse in the Northeast, was recently discovered by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). The organization knew it was too much for just them to handle. Therefore, the Catskill Animal Sanctuary was contacted and made the trip to save numerous animals.
According to reports, the animals at the farm were found in horrendous conditions. Their living space was cramped and dirty. There were even dead animals decaying in the area. Thankfully, these animals will never have to live like that again.
Catskill Animal Sanctuary took in 126 birds, which was made up of 112 hens, one duck, five turkeys, and eight geese. These birds are now able to stretch their wings and move freely. Sign this petition and thank Catskill Animal Sanctuary for their hard work and dedication to helping all animals.
Dear Ms. Stevens,
Recently, the ASPCA contacted you about what is now thought to be the largest case of farmed animal abuse in the Northeast. The farm was discovered in Massachusetts, and your team made the trip in order to help these animals.
Your team ended up taking in 126 birds. These birds included hens, geese, turkeys and a duck. These animals went from living in cramped, dirty conditions where they could barely spread their wings to open fields and fresh air.
Thank you so much for saving these birds and for everything you do to help animals daily. It is organizations like yours that give animals a chance to live the life they are supposed to.
