Target: Ken Paxton, Attorney General of Texas
Goal: Prosecute individuals to the fullest extent of the law who left a young boy locked in a storage unit with guns and drugs.
A young child was found trapped inside a storage unit with an assault rifle and drug paraphernalia. Police in the town of Pflugerville, Texas responded to a call and discovered the boy reeking of urine and clutching the weapon.
The unit in question measures a measly 3 feet by 12 feet and had no ventilation. The temperature in the unit was above 90 degrees Fahrenheit when police responded. The boy, only 7 years old, was found lying on the floor without shoes and wearing dirty clothes. The unit contained no food or water, and when questioned by police, the boy claimed he hadn’t eaten in over a day.
As they searched the storage container, police said they found a small bag containing marijuana and a syringe containing methamphetamine.
The boy has been placed in protective care and a woman has been arrested for her connection to the case. Sign the petition below and demand that all parties responsible for endangering this boy’s life be punished to the full extent of the law.
Dear Mr. Paxton,
I am writing to call your attention to the town of Pflugerville where a young boy was found locked in a storage unit along with drugs and an assault rifle. The boy was found in dirty and torn clothes and without food and water. The storage unit was well over 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and the boy claimed he had not eaten in over a day.
Such reckless endangerment is simply unacceptable. The individuals responsible were willing to risk the boy’s life in order to keep their illegal property safe. I urge you to fully investigate this case and hold any responsible parties accountable for their actions to the fullest extent of the law.
