Target: Ben Reed, Police Chief of Elko County
Goal: Ensure maximum penalty for whoever killed horses by disabling the water supply at a wild horse sanctuary.
At least a dozen wild horses at a preservation facility reportedly died of dehydration after someone sabotaged their water supply, leaving 60 horses to suffer. Some were found dead in and around the dried-up water sources. Authorities say that each of the water pumps and wells had been intentionally disabled. In addition, every fence was cut and laid down, causing at least a dozen of the horses to go missing. Only a few of the missing horses have been found, but they were too weak to even stand.
The poor wild horses had been rescued before being sent to a slaughterhouse, which is why they were living at the preservation. Now they’ve had to suffer even more cruelty. Disabling the water supply so that innocent animals are forced to suffer in the heat until they die is extremely sadistic. Whoever is responsible for this must be found at all costs or else they will continue to pose a severe threat to society. Please sign this petition demanding that authorities stop at nothing to find the cruel person who did this and see to it that they’re brought to justice.
Dear Mr. Reed,
Someone reportedly sabotaged the water supply at a wild horse preservation, killing at least a dozen animals. Authorities say that some of the horses are also missing.
It seems this was an act of pure cruelty, committed for no other reason than to cause these innocent creatures to suffer agonizing deaths. The person who did this must be found as soon as possible. We urge you to make sure this person is captured and punished to the most severe extent the law will allow.
