Target: Thomas Christopher, Richland Town Court Prosecutor
Goal: Seek the maximum penalty for couple who allegedly moved and abandoned two small dogs in the home.
Two small dogs were reportedly neglected and left behind when their owners moved houses. The dogs were found because someone noticed and reported that they were unattended and that a foul odor was coming from the house. Police say that the conditions were “unlivable” and that urine and feces covered the floor of the home.
If it weren’t for someone noticing the foul odor and reporting this, these poor dogs would’ve most likely succumbed to a slow and painful death brought on by neglect. The couple who left these poor dogs behind could’ve found someone to care for them. There are options for unwanted animals, yet they chose to cruelly leave them, knowing that the dogs couldn’t feed and water themselves in an abandoned home.
The couple, Dawn and Frank Harrington, were charged with cruelty to animals and are scheduled to appear in court. Please help bring these poor dogs justice by adding your signature to this petition to demand that the couple receive the maximum penalty and be banned from owning animals again.
Dear Mr. Christopher,
A couple reportedly moved, leaving two small dogs in the home. Police say that the floor was covered in feces and urine and the conditions were unlivable. The dogs were only found because someone noticed a foul odor and reported it.
These poor, innocent dogs would’ve probably died a horrific death from being neglected. Please see to it that the couple who cruelly abandoned these dogs is severely punished and never allowed to own animals again.
