Dear Prosecuting Attorney Casady,
A dog suffered an infection so bad that his head deformed, reports claim. His owners allegedly refused to bring him to a veterinarian. We demand justice for this innocent dog.
The dog was surrendered to animal control days after police ordered his owners to give him medical attention. His infected salivary gland could have easily been treated with antibiotics and possibly a minor surgery. Instead, his owners allegedly allowed him to suffer excruciating pain for an extended period of time before abandoning him at the shelter.
No dog should have to endure such extreme pain when medical attention is available. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
